Challenge Rules

THESE RULES APPLY TO ALL CHALLENGES

The events are open to all Riders/Drivers of Mopeds, Scooters, Motor-cycles, Motor-cycle combinations.

The entry fee for the Daytime Challenge is £15 per Rider. Passengers may be carried but will only qualify for an award if they are included on the Entry Form and an additional fee of £7.50 per passenger/pillion has been paid.

On the day entries will be taken and the entry fee for these is £25 per rider and £15 per pillion, the extra cost is to cover the costs of posting out the awards.

Entry fees for all riders/passengers will only be refunded in event of cancellation being notified, in writing, before the closing date for entries.

Anyone interested in riding as a team? A team of 3 is £12.00 per rider and £7.50 per pillion and a team of 4 or more £10.00 per per rider and £7.50 per pillion. Please advise us via email of the names of the people in your team.

Entries should be made on the Entry Form included with these Regulations and will be limited to 100 machines. Photocopies of the entry form are acceptable. Entries downloaded from the website are also acceptable.

ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED ELECTRONICALLY ONLY

The following basic rules will apply:

  1. There will be no performance tests on the public highway.
  2. There will be no specific route.
  3. Entrants will not be timed or required to visit the same place more than once.
  4. No merit will be attached to completing the event with the lowest mileage in the shortest time.
  5. It is the responsibility of all entrants to ensure they have the correct level of insurance for their machine for this type of event, BikerralliesUK does not provide any form of insurance cover.
  6. All riders and pillions are expected to obey all of the rules/laws of the road, BikerralliesUK does not accept any responsibility for any entrant, rider or pillion, who transgress these rules/laws.
  7. You must start the Challenge between 08:00 and 10:00 and return to the finish between 16:30 and 21:00.

Any protest against the results of the event must be made (in writing) within 14 days of the results being available.
