Faced with a terminal diagnosis on 2018, a lady biker decided to pack as much into the time before what she called her ‘D-day’ as she could. You can read her inspiring story HERE

Along with husband Mark, they are also raising money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the Churchill cancer hospital in Oxford.
Elaine and Mark have donated a unique airbrushed painting of a motorcycle engine by an amazing artist  Steve Gathercole as a fundraising item. We were originally going to auction this at the end of this year’s Ridethecounty after the raffle, but our friend and long term supporter Joe Smith of JS Fine art auctions has agreed to auction this, commission free at his upcoming MOTORCYLES, CLASSICS & AUTOMOBILIA AUCTION on Saturday 27th March. If you are free, this is definitely worth a visit, with some mouth watering items, follow the link to check out the auction catalogue.
Click HERE to see this amazing painting, in my view, you cannot differentiate this from a photo.

In other news, you can expect some rather nice goodies from those lovely OXFORD PRODUCTS people in the raffle.

Raffle donors so far include Kings two wheel centre, Kidlington and their co-tenants Helmet City Oxford.

The quest for more bike related prizes and auction items continues, if you can help please email info@ridethecounty.org.uk
